Assalamualiakum W.B.T. I think my English language now is improved. Before I entered UniKL MSI, I can't speak or writing well as now. I think my confident is raising up when I study here. The factor that influenced me interest English is because Madam Zu have a "spirit" that I really love it, I just like the subject, not Madam Zu. The other reason are I now can speak better compare in my secondary school. I think English language is very important, so I must study harder to get my ambition to be reality. So, that's all. Assalamualikum Madam ZU...I think my English improved for the first time during a small first nursery school only 5% I can only talk in English. Increasing age when I thought the English language is very important now with the world. Thus, from the contemporary to the period since the school's ranking to the university until I try the best efforts to improve my English .. With the help of teachers and also my friends, I believe the English increased until now I can continue my studies to MSi .. MSi can be said in the 95% in the process of learning the English language. by that I do not astonished declare English my first proportionate increase now.

Good afternoon madam zu, I think I have improved my English level than last time. Last time went I am in secondary school I feel my English level very bad and I’m not so interest to study English that time. Now I’m in Unikl and I feel English is important in my future life and now. The reason that I’m saying that my English level getting better than last time because the way and method of teaching in UniKL MSI by lecturer is more different than secondary school and it make the student easy to understand what their lecturer are trying to say. The way lecturer teach us by chapter to chapter make me more understand about adjective, nouns, writing report and etc.. As I know, the teaching method of madam zu make more understand and confident.
Firstly, I want to give lots of thank to the teacher when I in school previously and to my lecturer in last semester, madam Azlinda and this semester, madam Zuraidah where they all have teaching me and give me a knowledge of English. This is because without them, of course my English is very poor. My English is not so good but I think it has improved due to time and my study. Nowadays, I can understand more sentences of English. My speaking in English also is more clearly. I also know many new words and their meaning. But this is not enough to me and I want to learn more and I will attempt with more energetic to improve my English to the great level. Once again I want to give lots of thanks and appreciation to the teachers and not forget to my parents that has supports and give me a spirit to study. Thank you.

Why I think that my English are improve??? It is because before this, I can't understand even a single word when I'm watching movie. And I don't know what are those singer from Hollywood are singing. But, haha!!! Now, I can watch movie without reading the subtitle. Are you shock??? I'm shock myself. It just take me a year to become fluent in English. Yes!!! Believe it!!!
I think this is because the method that most of the lecturer here used. Of cos, the presentation is the most way that can make a student believe and have the faith towards themselves to talk to public and at the same time can improve their English.
And here is my opinion to Madam ZU. Why don't we do like what Spanish students just do a few weeks ago. Present an English movie at the lecture hall without using any subtitle. In this way, it can improve students English and how fast they can capture what the story tell.

as all know, english is important especially for those who still study either in secondary school or university level or any level who you are,,
for me, i think my english language now is better than last time,,i have more confident to writing, reading or communication with other people,,,sometimes of course i will make a mistake language when i want to speak to other but for me i think from there i will know or more learn how to speak well,.
Do you know,,i still remember for the 1st time i attend to nursing interview in July last year i must to speak all in english on that time...do you imagine i never attend to any interview and that is the 1st time i involved especially thats interview had be organized under Institute Jantung Negara,KL.,,i feels so trouble to speak well,,of course from there they will see i did not have a confident level to be as nursing and maybe i could not have chance to join IJN because only of my communication skills in my last interview...Starting from there,,i talk to myself i must to always practise speaking, reading or writing in english...seems as practise makes perfect!..
now, my language is more better than last time,,i have more confident to learn english and of course to speak well!!..now i know how important english to myself.
last but not least,,thanks for my teachers and of course to madam for help me to improve and more learning in english..
firstly, i not well in English but start to improved in it.
secondly, before enter MSI, I get few interview and have to speak all in English. So i get to learn this English because it will give many benefit to go study overseas.
Next, now I have more confident and bravely to speak in English in front of everyone.Beside that,continue what are madam doing now because later on madam will get also the benefit.

English language is very needed nowadays.In order to live in today's world,we need to master English language.
To date,i do think that my english language has improved to a better level.Thanks to my previous teachers and lecturers (including Madam Zuraidah),now I can speak a bit fluently in English language than years ago.I also can understand someone speaking in English nowadays.Although that I haven't mastered English well enough,I'm still trying as hard as I can.

For me...i think my English had improved since my primary school...especially on my listening skills..because everyday i heard my father talking in English about his works on the telephone...so after he had finished his conversation...i asked him words that i don't understand..it may sound like i am an annoying person...but it Works!!!!!!!!

Since I am in MSI, I think my English had improved much better but I am not satisfied yet. This is due to my lack of self confident. Until today, I am not brave enough to speak in front of audience.

Do i think my english is improve..?????Now, my english is better than before but i still have a problem in english especially when im need to writing and speaking. i have a lot of problem in make a sentences....In grammar i still can do it well but when i need to apply it to write in essay then i will loss it..my vocabulary is also still weak and im try to find a book that will help me to improve my english.....
in my opinion,i think my english now still at the same level in the past 3 years...maybe it much lower...i still weak in grammar especially...sometimes i forgot to look at past tenses.present tenses and future tenses.. i also has a limited uses of english...i still remember,when i take a muet exam, i cannot use a well english..

Since I’ve joined debate tournament, being active in English class and joined program that use English as the main language makes the opportunity for me to use English is slightly higher and I’ve become more confident to speak English.

I agree with the topic of the discussion due to some reasons. Firstly, they think Enlish should be used at a certain time only. For example, during the English class, when doing assignment and when making a presentation only. These are not enough for them to speak fluently in English and understand it as well. Secondly, they don't take a lesson from any other undergraduates who are also unemployed. I think that students who are studying in IPT should be devulged that the use of English is not only for the short period but English is useful for the rest of their life...

In my opinion, my English has improved a lot now. Before this, I feel my English is so terrible. I feel so afraid to speak and communicate in English. My confident lever is less. But when I attended Sekolah Menengah Teknik Alor Star (ASTECH), I have learned a new thing and I feel so easy to learn English. The teacher at ASTECH was taught me from the basic grammar of English.From that moment, I feel so happy and enjoy learning English. every time i faced a problem and trouble especially in definition, i will immideately look trough dictionary since dictionary become my part of my life,my closet buddy.i also read english newspaper, not only stick to malay ones, i also feel that the use of english in lectures has enchanced my english language a lot. i have learnt more new scientific terms as well as write each note and homework in engfalish

In my premonition,English's efficiency my level nowadays having increase quite stimulating compared during old school owing to in university learning methods was different because in unikl lecturer which teaches will teach ways of how for us said in public,how way to debate,way at making report like reality, so indirectly I can speak in English's language although no fluent Tom Cruise.To increase more level mastery English language ,we necessary many communicate in that language,more read newspapers such as The Star,NSTP and etc.

I was not that good in commanding English language in recent years. Although the language is being taught almost everyday in school, it seem that I still lacking behind for all those years. Having friends that seldom use the language, only communicate in Bahasa Melayu among friends, not a favourite subject, lacking in knowledge of how it would be of atmost important and advantage for future job seekings, family abilities in the language is not encouraging, all these are reasons behind the inability of mastering this international language.
As time goes by, after enrolling in the higher institution, one must have the least ability to communicate or understanding the basic kind of English language for a start. If not, I’ll be left behind, struggling to understand what is being taught daily. I would say that, realizing the facts that it is do or die to have the know how to understand, having the what being taught in class, I’ve begun learning English using various means, including the Internet. Thanks for the new era of technology. It really helps. I’m getting the momentum and progressing each day.

In a past years later,i am a very weak students in english,..i just can say 'yes' and 'no' only,..at school,i prefer speak in Bahasa Melayu with all my friends because i think it's much better to me to understand..i realize that english is important to our socialize,but i still not learn and uses it very much..
Until now, i'm the UNIKL MSI student and i have improved my english language,.why do i said so..??that's because,i have learn english very much here,..even my english is still not enough good..at least i can speak english very well and do a writing much better than past,..as i having english as my second language,i now can speak it with my friend and no need to affraid if they laugh at me,..that's all..

I think my english language have more improve than when I was in school..In unikl msi,I have been teaching the correctly in english language..Moreover,the lecturer also help me to be more confidence to speak english in class or with my friends.. All the subjects that I has take in this course also in english...So it also help me to understand the correct in language and words when I have learn that subjects..my writing in english also improve when I doing assignment in that subjects..Although,it was give me a trouble but it will help to improve my english language in my future after I have finish my studies..

Yes I strongly agree, this is because in now day, all factory want their worker to understand English. This is because English is now the second language in Malaysia. Many factories from outsider came to Malaysia to improve their accounts. They don’t know to speak Malay but only English. Not only that by improve my language, it help me to communicate with tourists and my friend in other country.
Honestly, i think my English just improve in low percentage. This is because until now i can't write english essay or whatever in english in a good and better level. i think already improved my english. but i actually a bit shy to speak with others. that is my main enemy,shy. why i say i have imprved my eglish? it is because i love english. since secondry school,MRSM. i always get an A in english test. after that,i also being chosen by teacher to be a mentor for my class. nowadays,things is quite the same. i still get a good mark in english. so im hoping an A this semester too, to maintain my gpa. i also speak english with my brothers. in that way, i still can improved my english to the next level.

Before I entered UniKL MSI, I can't speak or writing well as now. I think my confident is raising up when I study here. The factor that influenced me interest English is because Madam Zu have a "spirit" that I really love it, I just like the subject, not Madam Zu.
The other reason are I now can speak better compare in my secondary school.
I think English language is very important, so I must study harder to get my ambition to be reality.

Assalamualikum Madam ZU...I think my English improved for the first time during a small first nursery school only 5% I can only talk in English. Increasing age when I thought the English language is very important now with the world. Thus, from the contemporary to the period since the school's ranking to the university until I try the best efforts to improve my English .. With the help of teachers and also my friends, I believe the English increased until now I can continue my studies to MSi .. This is because without them, of course my English is very poor. My English is not so good but I think it has improved due to time and my study. Nowadays, I can understand more sentences of English. I do not think that I have improve my English. I still have problem in finding and using a correct word in my writing and my speaking. It is also hard for me to understand whenever people talk me in English especially from the foreign people. I still think that English is the hard subject to master. I think, my English are getting better and better each and every year. Thanks to all my previous teachers and my current lecturer who are so lovely, cute and sweet.
Why I think that my English are improve??? It is because before this, I can't understand even a single word when I'm watching movie. And I don't know what are those singer from Hollywood are singing. But, haha!!! Now, I can watch movie without reading the subtitle. Are you shock??? I'm shock myself. It just take me a year to become fluent in English. Yes!!! Believe it!!!
I think this is because the method that most of the lecturer here used. Of cos, the presentation is the most way that can make a student believe and have the faith towards themselves to talk to public and at the same time can improve their English.
And here is my opinion to Madam ZU. Why don't we do like what Spanish students just do a few weeks ago. Present an English movie at the lecture hall without using any subtitle. In this way, it can improve students English and how fast they can capture what the story tell.

for me, i think my english language now is better than last time,,i have more confident to writing, reading or communication with other people,,,sometimes of course i will make a mistake language when i want to speak to other but for me i think from there i will know or more learn how to speak well,.
Do you know,,i still remember for the 1st time i attend to nursing interview in July last year i must to speak all in english on that time...do you imagine i never attend to any interview and that is the 1st time i involved especially thats interview had be organized under Institute Jantung Negara,KL.,,i feels so trouble to speak well,,of course from there they will see i did not have a confident level to be as nursing and maybe i could not have chance to join IJN because only of my communication skills in my last interview...Starting from there,,i talk to myself i must to always practise speaking, reading or writing in english...seems as practise makes perfect!..
now, my language is more better than last time,,i have more confident to learn english and of course to speak well!!..now i know how important english to myself.
last but not least,,thanks for my teachers and of course to madam for help me to improve and more learning in english..

English is a good and easy language to learn, it is because the majority of people in the world using English as their daily language. For me my English language is very poor because I do understand English but my pronunciation and my grammar is not well enough. Beside that, the levels of confident to talk in English also become a major problem for me. For example when making presentation in English, I do feel very nervous and speechless, because I’m afraid that other people is not understand what the matter I’m talking about and the will laugh at me.

I agree with the topic of the discussion due to some reasons. Firstly, they think Enlish should be used at a certain time only. For example, during the English class, when doing assignment and when making a presentation only. These are not enough for them to speak fluently in English and understand it as well. Secondly, they don't take a lesson from any other undergraduates who are also unemployed. I think that students who are studying in IPT should be devulged that the use of English is not only for the short period but English is useful for the rest of their life...

firstly, im very angry because ive write this comment, but cannot send because connection problem. marah btoi aku. back to the topic. i dont think my english has improved. from secondary school until now, it still it the same level. in my opinion, this is because my classroom dynamics leads to this problem. as we know, not everybody use english a lot. even in english class. this include you(madam zu). i think the main obstacles are shy and lack of vocabulary. ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, my English has improved a lot now. Before this, I feel my English is so terrible. I feel so afraid to speak and communicate in English. My confident lever is less. But when I attended Sekolah Menengah Teknik Alor Star (ASTECH), I have learned a new thing and I feel so easy to learn English. The teacher at ASTECH was taught me from the basic grammar of English.From that moment, I feel so happy and enjoy learning English. Now my confident lever have increased and my writing skill have improved.

To me, I think my English not improved better. Liked I say at forum 2, I cannot used English skill until now. I don't understand how and when to used the skill. And I have to study hard to understand it... And one more my problem with English is I not confident when communicate in English eventhough with my friends or my siblings. My siblings was good in English accept for me... Maybe it because I not interested to study English. Or because I not enjoys study English... So, I have to bury interest in learning English from now...

honestly, i believe that i'm still in progress to bring english language to the higher level and i think i need to be more 'initiative' to increasing my english to the next level as well.

ReplyDeleteI think i have improve my English at this time.Previously at secondary school,at that time,my English is not bad,not the best.I say like that because at that time,the environment is not English-friendly.Most of the people there not thinking speaking English is not exciting.After I enter the Unikl MSI,the condition is change.I feel excited to speak English with my friend although it is not the most.At this time,we must delete or throw away the shyness.
I don't think my English is excellent,but by the time I must improve my English to the level.As I said in the Forum 2,learning English is not a waste of time..As we all know time is money.What are waiting for?Time is running out!..

Salam…I think that my English level is better that before.The reasons why I said that because the teacher always support me and teach me since I was in secondary school.For me, English is just like hobby or others where the interest is the common thing that we must put inside our minds. Like others said that if we have interest,everything can be done. It is better if we put interest within the confident where can make we come up a step forward. So, as we know there is no end in study and we have to push forward and harder especially in learning English.

every time i faced a problem and trouble especially in definition, i will immideately look trough dictionary since dictionary become my part of my life,my closet buddy.i also read english newspaper, not only stick to malay ones, i also feel that the use of english in lectures has enchanced my english language a lot. i have learnt more new scientific terms as well as write each note and homework in engfalish

ReplyDeleteWe see again in this third forum.In the first and second forum we talk about the increasing number of unemployment of graduates because weak in English.English is blessing or burden?.
So for this forum it's for myself.
For me,I believe that I have improved a lot of English when I in form4 and form5.Why I said like that?I'm not lie.When I learn slowly about English I realize that English was not hard.
The factor of surrounding also make me learn more English.My mother also teach me how to speak well in the English.I think I have improved my English in the worst to the better level.
When I was in form1 until right now,we learn mathematic and science subject in English.Therefore I learn a lot from there.
I raise up with English and learn a lot in English that why I said I in the best line when I continuing my studies in UniKL MSI.
I have a good lecturer like you that make me love to learn English.I said like that because it's true.
Everyday learn English and make me feel better.Feel I can achieve my target to be the engineer someday.
That's my dream and I will be the best student in English.I hope you will help me more because I'm in learning.

ReplyDeleteIn my premonition,English's efficiency my level nowadays having increase quite stimulating compared during old school owing to in university learning methods was different because in unikl lecturer which teaches will teach ways of how for us said in public,how way to debate,way at making report like reality, so indirectly I can speak in English's language although no fluent Tom Cruise.To increase more level mastery English language ,we necessary many communicate in that language,more read newspapers such as The Star,NSTP and etc.

I was not that good in commanding English language in recent years. Although the language is being taught almost everyday in school, it seem that I still lacking behind for all those years. Having friends that seldom use the language, only communicate in Bahasa Melayu among friends, not a favourite subject, lacking in knowledge of how it would be of atmost important and advantage for future job seekings, family abilities in the language is not encouraging, all these are reasons behind the inability of mastering this international language.
As time goes by, after enrolling in the higher institution, one must have the least ability to communicate or understanding the basic kind of English language for a start. If not, I’ll be left behind, struggling to understand what is being taught daily. I would say that, realizing the facts that it is do or die to have the know how to understand, having the what being taught in class, I’ve begun learning English using various means, including the Internet. Thanks for the new era of technology. It really helps. I’m getting the momentum and progressing each day.

In a past years later,i am a very weak students in english,..i just can say 'yes' and 'no' only,..at school,i prefer speak in Bahasa Melayu with all my friends because i think it's much better to me to understand..i realize that english is important to our socialize,but i still not learn and uses it very much..
Until now, i'm the UNIKL MSI student and i have improved my english language,.why do i said so..??that's because,i have learn english very much here,..even my english is still not enough good..at least i can speak english very well and do a writing much better than past,..as i having english as my second language,i now can speak it with my friend and no need to affraid if they laugh at me,..that's all..

Yes I strongly agree, this is because in now day, all factory want their worker to understand English. This is because English is now the second language in Malaysia. Many factories from outsider came to Malaysia to improve their accounts. They don’t know to speak Malay but only English. Not only that by improve my language, it help me to communicate with tourists and my friend in other country.

Honestly, i think my English just improve in low percentage. This is because until now i can't write english essay or whatever in english in a good and better level. My English vocabulary is still low and i can did not memorise many english verb and also do not understand the meaning. I also can't speak english well. But i hope i can increase all this when i learn english in UniKL MSI because right now i'm in the university level

No, I still weak in English. My capacity is inside communicate so weak altogether. I still bloom capable of fully controlling language basis English. However, I will continue to strive for to increase its. What that had I study all this while no I benefit fully, therefore I will try to experience it is with profounder more. I grateful to Mdm. Zu that had often support all of us and help increase command of the English language.
